what is Electrostatic Oil Filtrat ion System?


This process is the best process to clean the oil, giving the best results.
The 10-15 KV DC current is applied between positive(+) and negative electrode plate which is fit inside the cleaning tank of machine. The oil being non conductive is not affected by current, whereas minute particles causing contamina tion- positive or negative are efficiently captured on the dust collector or electrode plates of opposite polarity and hence removed.
A charged neutral particle which is either alredy highly polar in nature or is polarized by non uniform voltage field of collector, is drawn toward the area of greatest field strength(fo lds of collector set pleats).
Electrostatic oil filter use a voltage field to influence particles through electrostatic force but no flow of electric current is imposed on particles(or the fluids).ln fact the power supply used for creating the needed voltage is only capable of producing less than 20 mA(0.020 amp)of current flow.
